Entries received before the 6/5/24 will be balloted for order of dance in the Championships, after this date last to enter will be first to dance.

MORNING SESSION 8.30am – Primary, Beginners, Novice, Intermediate, Restricted Premier section dances & Pre-Premier Titles

MIDDLE SESSION 11am (approx.) – Premier and Restricted Premier Titles

AFTERNOON SESSION 12.30 (approx.) – Championships

MID AFTERNOON SESSION 3pm (approx.) – Choreography Competition

LATE AFTERNOON SESSION 4.30pm (approx.) – Tattoo rehearsal for NSWSCHDInc

Saturday 25 May 2024 – commencing at 8:30 am with Pre-Premier & Restricted Premier

 

SECTION DANCES:


Primary: PDB (16), PDB & HC (4 times), Fling (4), Sword Dance (2&1) - Prizes: Rosettes

Beginners: Trophy Fling (4), Seann Truibhas (3&1), Strathspey & Highland Reel (2&2), Flora (4) - Prizes: Medals

Novice: Trophy Fling (4), Seann Truibhas (3&1), Strathspey & Highland Reel (2&2), Flora (4) - Prizes: Medals

Intermediate: Trophy Highland Laddie (4), Barracks Johnnie (4), Jig (3&1), Hornpipe (4), Flora (4) - Prizes: Medals

Premier - Restricted: Trophy Highland Laddie (4), Barracks Johnnie (4), Jig (3&1), Hornpipe (4) Prizes: Medals
To be eligible for Premier (with Restriction) a dancer cannot have placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any Championship since 1/1/2020.

Premier and Restricted Titles to commence at approx. 11am

Eastern Australian Championships (C10/2024)
Commencing at approximately 12:30pm

Age groups will run concurrently.

7-11 years

Perpetual trophy for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
Sashes for 1st to 6th
70th Anniversary Medals
 

If dancers are entering Restricted Premier sections, Title and Championship, please be reminded of the 8 dance rule.

 

Choreography Competition
Commencing at conclusion of the championships

Solo – Age groups decided upon receipt of entries - Any Scottish/Celtic theme.

Duo/Trio – Age groups decided upon receipt of entries - Any Scottish/Celtic theme.

Groups 4 or more dancers – Age groups decided upon receipt of entries - Any Scottish/Celtic theme.

(PLEASE NOTE: THAT DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS DANCERS CAN ONLY PERFORM TWICE IN THE CHOREOGRAPHY COMPETITION)
