The Mary Campbell Scholarship

The Thistle and MacGregor Highland Dancing Studios have collaborated to create a scholarship in the name of Mary Campbell, formerly of Highland House in Brisbane.

In 2022 & 2023 both Thistle and MacGregor competitions will award The Mary Campbell Scholarship, an amount of $250.00 to be selected by the judges at each competition to assist in that dancer's future development in Highland Dancing - either through tuition, workshops, seminars, travel to competitions or for other dancing essentials.   At this year's Thistle Competition, the judges will be selecting a Pre-Premier dancer to be awarded the scholarship.
