This competition is registered with the Western Australian Metropolitan Regional Committee of Highland Dancing Inc. and will be conducted under the rules of the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing (RSOBHD) as adopted by the Australian Board of Highland Dancing Incorporated (ABHDI).

Closing Date for Entries: Tuesday 30th April 2024. 7pm
Dance order will be determined by order of receipt of entry, with 1st to enter, last to dance.
Submitting Entries:
Your entry will be taken as permission for WAMRCHDI to photograph competing dancers and to use those photos for promotion on http://wamrchdi.webs.com/ and of highland dancing. If you do not wish your child to be photographed please provide their competitor’s number to the organisers prior to the commencement of the day.

- All Pre-levels and Premier will commence at 1pm
- All sections will be danced concurrently
- All presentations will be at the conclusion of the competition

PRIMARY
The number of places will be at the discretion of the organiser and will depend on entries received.
BEGINNER & NOVICE SECTIONS
Medals will be awarded as follows:
1 to 3 dancers - 1 place (if adjudicator awards)
4 dancers - 2 places
5 dancers - 3 places
6 dancers - at discretion of organiser
8 dancers or more - at discretion of organiser
INTERMEDIATE SECTIONS
The number of places will be at the discretion of the organiser and will depend on entries received. Medals will be awarded to placegetters.
PREMIER
The number of places will be at the discretion of the organiser and will depend on entries received. Prize money will be awarded to placegetters.
BEGINNERS
In respect of the Beginner category, their card will be stamped at every competition where they win a first, second or third prize in ANY of the Highland dances- Highland fling, Sword Dance, Seann Triubhas, Reel, or Trophy Fling.
NOVICE
In respect of the Novice category, their card will be stamped at every competition where they win a first, second or third prize in any dance.
ALL DANCERS MUST BE IN FULL COSTUME FOR PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. THIS INCLUDES THE APPROPRIATE SHOES FOR THE COSTUME.
