Trophy Dance: $8.00

Titles: Beginners & Novice $10.00

Intermediate, Premier with Restriction & Premier $15.00

Premier Special Dance: $10.00

 

PRIZES: Medals given for Pre-Premier & Cash prizes for Premier section dances as well as for individual dances in Premier Titles

(Registration cards MUST be presented on the day to claim winning prizes)

INTERMEDIATE:

Sword Dance (2&1), Seann Triubhas (3&1), Hornpipe (4), Jig (3&1)

Trophy Dance: Barracks Johnnie (4)

Intermediate Title: Lilt (4), Flora McDonald (4), Fling (5 steps)
 

PREMIER:

Sword Dance (2&1), Seann Triubhas (3&1), Barracks Johnnie (4), Jig (3&1)

Premier with Restriction/Premier Title: Lilt (5 steps) Blue Bonnets (4), Fling (5 steps)

Special Dance: Hornpipe (5 steps)

NB: Premier with Restriction are eligible to enter in Premier Special Dance Hornpipe

* NB: Premier with Restriction Titles are open to dancers who have not been placed first, second or third overall in a registered Championship in the previous five years. These dancers can elect to compete in either the Premier or the Premer with Restriction Title.

 

Ages for the Sections/Titles will be determined according to entries received.

 

The New South Wales State Committee of Highland Dancing Inc. will be running the Highland Dance NSW Competition League in 2024.

The competition league is an aggregate system for NSW registered Highland Dancers with league points able to be earned at every registered NSW competition.  Dancers can accumulate league points at each competition they enter throughout the calendar year.

The winners will be announced at the first NSW Competition the following year.

League Categories:

Beginners, Novice, Intermediate, Premier with Restriction and Premier.

The more competitions the dancers compete in, the more points they earn.
